I have to be the worst ever at coming up with blog post titles… But, Spring has definitely sprung here in northern VA. Actually… it sprung about mid-February. We’ve had a series of 80 degree days and then next day drops to 40. If that isn’t global warming, then I’m not sure what it is…

I was strutting through the streets of this gorgeous historic teeny tiny town with my hardcore sass shoes on. My best friend always brings out the inner sass, confidence, and rawness of my personality – there’s no one I feel more comfortable around, which is why we’re such a good duo! These pictures really capture that. It can be hard to pose well in pictures, especially since it takes a certain amount of ‘into yourself-ness’ about it (… if that’s a thing). This was by far my funnest shoot yet, with the best photographer yet. I can’t wait for all of our trips through little historical towns in glam outfits to continue. Here’s to more Zara, lipstick, and sass!

Top: Forever 21

Jeans: Forever 21

Shoes: Forever 21 (similar here)

Sunnies: Rayban

Winter is gone here and it barely ever came! One blizzard of snow and now we’re basking in the sunshine of 80 degree weather, crop tops, and bright sunglasses all over again. The 70s trend is still holding strong, and I’ve stumbled across the most chic high waisted flare legged pants and cute little striped tee to match. Not to mention these thick, clompy shoes to pull the look together. I feel like a modern day Mila Kunis in That 70s Show and it’s a field day of fun.

Spring Shoe Fever…

Ok… I can not stress this enough… ASOS’s collection of kitten heels and bright metallic spring shoes are literally TO-DIE-FOR. Ugh, it’s my dream to own every pair and to have the outfits to style with them… All I can picture is running through fields of flowers in flowing 50s inspired skirts in these shoes. I love them all so incredibly much, I figured I would share them with you… Which ones do you like best?

I had an absolute BLAST with my friend in NYC this weekend. We hit every great spot in the city (especially shopping spots – of course (; ), relaxed, took our time, and enjoyed every bit of it! It is by far my favourite place. My dreams are to hopefully live there someday! I’ll just keep adding to that savings account… haha. Usually I try to throw on something casual yet chic and comfy because walking around the city all day can get very tiring, but yet I still always feel not fashionable enough to compare to those New Yorkers! I was very pleased when I got quite the few compliments on my attire so I took it as a must to share. (Oh and I was enjoying some beautiful cappuccino gelato in these pics! haha) I hope you all had a weekend as great as mine!

White Out…

Jean Jacket: J.Crew

Top: Michael Kors 2013

Jeans: J.Crew (on sale!)

Heels: I.N.C (Macy’s)

Bracelet: River Island (…similar here…)

White Jeans and Jean Jackets are always a must-have for spring. I’ve never had a pair of jeans fit me as perfectly as these. Just like all black – all white is an easy, stylish go-to outfit plan. I just love the little shoulder zippers on this Michael Kors shirt, and the change in fabric from front to back. Its so soft, comfy, and has such a chic look.

Thanks for reading xo,

A
