I’m no makeup artist, and I learn nearly everything I know from makeup videos on youtube, but after some recent additions to my makeup I decided to fool around a bit. Yesterday before making my outfit post I created this subtle glam, bronzy type look.

Here’s what I used…

Mac Primer

Mac Mineralize Moisture Foundation

Urban Decay 24/7 concealer pencil in FBI

Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour palet in Java, Fawn, Banana & Sand

Anastasia Beverly Hills Pro Pencil

Smashbox Brow Tech

Too Faced Natural Eyes in Classic

Sephora Lip Liner Pencil in Pure Pinky

Maybelline Gel Eye Liner

Maybelline Falsies Big Eyes Mascara

Hope you like it!

Kylie Jenner Makeup

Hey loves!

So I’ve had this huge obsession with Kylie Jenner’s makeup lately (specifically her lips). So after visiting Sephora yesterday, I found some great items! After some work, I think I’ve managed it. I’m no makeup artist (even though I wish I could be!), so this is the best shot I have! This is for all of you lovelies who want just a basic way to get a great look – Here are the simple steps and cheap items I used to get this it-

We all know Kylie Jenner has never had big lips; they were actually very small, until now!

So what her makeup artists have clearly done is when they put lipliner on her, they go just a bit above her real lip line. So i tried this! I followed my lip line of course, but i made the line thicker so it went above a bit. It made my lips look fuller and of course, bigger!

I used a $5.00 lip liner stick from Sephora, made by Sephora. The color is Radiant Rosy. My color is a bit darker than Kylie’s, so this may only be a night color. It looks really dark in the pictures, but isn’t actually that dark.

I winged out my eye liner. I usually do this on a daily basis anyway. I use Maybelline Eye Studio Gel pot eyeliner, which comes with a brush too. I’ve been using this one for years, and even after using a MAC one, this one still is the best! And only $9 at any pharmacy or supermarket!

I would have put on fake eyelashes, but I currently have no glue 😦

I put on MAC Mineralize Moisture Broad Spectrum liquid foundation NC35. This goes best with my skin color, but Kylie has pretty light skin, so if you’re trying to look exactly like her, then I would use the lightest foundation you have. I recommend any Maybelline of your choice from a drug store!

It doesn’t seem as thought she wears much blush at all, and if she does it would be almost a honey like color. I used just a little bit of very light pink blush, Estee Lauder Peach Passion, but you can use what you prefer. Another great light, pink blush that is cheap is NYX stick blush in Orchid at any drug store or supermarket!

I typically use my MAC Refined Golden bronzer, but this time I used Bronze Booster in Medium to Dark, which I bought at Walgreens.

For my eyebrows, I used this amazing Sephora Crayon Brow Pencil in Rich Chestnut, and it was only $13!

Here’s how my look turned out:

Beginner Lipstick for Olive Skin

Hey guys!
So, I’ve been really into lipstick for quite awhile, but never explored different types because i’ve always felt, and known, that I can’t get a grip of the look on myself. Therefore, I’ve sadly admired other girls beauty as they transitioned their looks with eye popping colors. After a trip to Sephora, and a trip to Mac, I was given a bit of guidance and able to pick a few. Trying on drastic colors like reds, and other brights were scary to me. I wasn’t and still am not used to wearing lipstick that I just thought I looked so strange! I’m sure many lipstick beginners feel the same. With my olive skin tone, I realized that all those amazing colors that many light skinned blondes can pull off will never work for me, but there are many other options that will glow beautifully with my olive tone. Here are a few that I’ve been wearing that aren’t too drastic, look good with olive skin, and don’t scare the ba-jezus out of me.

I know all of these somewhat look the same, but once they’re on they don’t at all.

The first one (starting from the top – or left) is Nars Mayflower, which I just got at Sephora for $26.

The next one I’m still a bit uncomfortable and scared to wear (haha) but it looks great with olive skin and I absolutely adoooreeee matte. This one I’d say is not a beginner lip because it’s a bright pop of color. It’s e.l.f. Matte Lip Color in Rich Red. It was hard to get a picture of it because unfortunately it melted in the car 😦 but I got it from Target for only a few dollars so it’s no problem to get a new one 🙂

The third one is MAC Frost; Creme de la Femme. This one looks a lot brighter once it’s on lips rather than on my hand or just in the tube. This one also gives me a bit of anxiety but is more subtle than the red and is gorgeous for summer.

Lastly, this one I got at Target also. It was recommended by a friend and is such a lovely color. It’s more bold than the first NARS color but is very similar. I had a MAC one that looked just like it but my little sister used all of it.. mostly on her face haha :). This one if my favorite!

Here are a few of my favorite pics of olive skinned celebs wearing lovely colored lipsticks 🙂

Hope this helps 🙂
