This is by far my favorite dress of all time. ALL TIME. I bought it a year ago off of Missguided for a Magazine Party I had went to and felt so comfortable and effortless in it. It has that bit of sex appeal all while still being appropriate and reserved. It is all around perfection. The color alone is breathtaking. Mostly all dresses from Missguided have the same memo – elegant class with a sexy touch. For all events moving forward I’ll be shopping from there! The toughest part is that it’s all online – but I’ve come to find through experience and taking the risk with ordering from there that they are pretty true to size (including jeans, shoes, etc.). Always turning to my Ettika jewelry to add that extra glamorous touch! Get 15% off Ettika here.
I’m so much in love with this Emma & Sam shirt, that I bought two in different colors! It was reduced tremendous amounts and was selling out like crazy! I’ve had my eye on it for months and months, so luckily I was able to get it before it was gone. I figured I would post it with the two different types of shoes; going comfortably casual with sneakers and a bit more glam with the heels. The choker I made myself by cutting up an old black tee, and the Tommy jeans I also ripped myself, so instead I listed you an amazing similar looking pair from Missguided that I adore. Ciao!
It’s an extremely gloomy, rainy day here in DC. As soon as I was ready to take some pictures, it started to pour 😦 Lucky enough, it cleared for the rest of the night! My lovely boyfriend was my photographer and actually did so much better than I expected! Although he made fun of me most of the time, I think I’ll keep him (; This is such a casual chic outfit that can be worn for a night out, or with a pair of sneakers for a day having lunch with some friends. I haven’t had many opportunities to expand my closet recently (aka go shopping :P) so I’ve done a lot of playing around with the pieces I have. I think that’s one of the key necessities to being a stylish individual. Spending isn’t always available and we don’t all get clothes for free like the many blogger inspirations we see with new pieces nearly every other day. Making the most of the pieces you have is key. One pair of jeans can make 5 different significant outfits that never look the same! Keep an open mind 🙂
I’ve never been too entirely into in the world of Mens Fashion, but having five men in my family, it is almost inevitable. Being a lover of Style in general, regardless of the current trends, shopping for my brother is an exciting moment for me (even tho sometimes he thinks I’m a bit ridiculous with the skinny leg sweatpants and turtleneck sweaters 😛 ) he has learned some good style for a 16 year old. So for all the men interested in fashion out there… here’s some inspiration from my amazing little model of a brother. Enjoy.
I’ve never had a pair of “mom” jeans until these and to be honest I was a bit fearful of the way they may fit (and returns to another country is just stress that none of us really need) but I adore Missguided and fit in their other jeans well, so I gave it a shot. Although they’re somewhat loose in the upper area and below the tooshie, that’s how they’re supposed to fit. It took some getting used to but I love them and feel so 90s chic! The top is actually a tunic in which I had to fold up a bit and knot in the front. I’m all about knotted tops right now! It’s so easy to do and can add some flare and cropped style to practically any normal top. Hope you like it.
I found this gorgeous dress in a little boutique in downtown Bristol, RI. It’s so incredibly stunning in the simplest way! It’s very thin and breezy, and makes me feel oh-so-glam (; It has a very tiny slight lift in the front and drape in the back so it’s never a bother when walking around. It’s up there with my top 3 favourite pieces this summer! And I found it on sale! (my mom bought it for me, thanks mom :P) I’m not the biggest fan of maxi dresses but this one is killer! I paired it with this gorgeous gold statement necklace that I got last winter in another Boutique in Bristol called Jackies Loft. Gold is a great color with this dress! When I tried it on in the store I was wearing a gold body chain underneath and it looked stunning!
I found this adorable Brandy dress at Pac Sun. It’s a really easy throw on that you can dress up or dress down. With a pair of heels this outfit could be completely different! The necklace is a major statement piece and really pulls it all together. I don’t typically wear statement jewelry but this necklace is killer and looks great with anything black, whether it’s casual shorts and a tee or a dress like this.
My lovely friend took me out for a nice dinner for my birthday, and being the fashionista bloggers that we are, we of course had to take pics of our outfits! I am in absolute LOVE with this Missguided bodysuit. It truly fits like a gem and can be dressed up or worn casual with some cute high waisted shorts. Also – my friend Gabby just started her own blog! Check out her page!
Clueless is one of my favorite movies, and when I put these two pieces together this morning all I could think of was Cher from clueless (yet still not nearly as cute… She’s hard competition (; ) I haven’t worn either of these tops in forever, and went into my closet looking to wear something older for a change. The white blouse is still available from Michael Kors (I saw it on sale in Macy’s the other day!!).
The weather is getting so cold and I’m already wishing for summer 😦 but hey, this is my favorite time of year for cute simple street style! This is an in-betweener outfit: not warm out but still not too cold out. It’s a super casual, and comfy errands and a stop for lunch with a friend kind of outfit.
