Five Etsy Finds of the Week

Ever since I’ve started selling chokers on Etsy I’ve came across a whole new world of merchandise – a type that I admired more than any other. Knowing the effort, time and money spent making my chokers, I understand and respect the dedication that others take to create their unique products on Etsy. Therefore, I’ve decided I’d start a weekly blog post featuring 5 new shops I come across that I admire, and some of my favorite pieces from them

  1. Aquarian Thoughts

This is by far my favorite Etsy shop at the moment. I’m not the biggest jewelry person, as I tend to lose it all, but I do find jewelry so beautiful (as expected). What I love most about this particular jewelry shop is the delicacy of it all. It’s simply stunning – and I mean simply literally. It speaks for itself…

2. Thread Thugs

This shop is trendy and unique! Many products are based off of pieces found at LF stores – a clothing store only found in big cities like LA and NY and can’t be bought online. Therefore, it most likely has exactly what you’re looking for but can’t find anywhere else. It’s edgy and chic, affordable and irreplaceable.

3.  Valdenize

This shop is a bit pricey, but makes dresses so you’re paying for what you’re getting. What I love about this shop in particular is the 50s inspired dresses. I have a strong obsession with the 50s era, and I mean everything to do with the decade even beyond the adorable flare skirts and gingham prints. I find it rather difficult to find good 50s inspired pieces, so I instantly fell in love with Valdenize.

4. LoisLondonNYC

These beautiful, beautiful, beautiful gowns are fit for a goddess. I will say no more.

5. LanoyeeSilver

This bohemian style shop sells everything from jewelry to clothing. I have always been on the edge about bohemian style clothing – sometimes I feel like it’s a bit too much, but the great thing about this shop is the variety. Not all pieces are overly bohemian styled, yet there are some pieces that are. It’s perfect for all who are interested in the style!

Ettika X Revolve

I recently received this beautiful choker from Ettika, and was extremely delighted to hear the news that it is now a product for Revolve! (yaaaaaay, Ettika!!) The company fell as much in love with the piece as I did, and therefore it’s now available at Revolve.com.

There’s nothing I can say I dislike about this piece. I was skeptical if I would like the tassel part and really be able to wear it with anything at first, for I felt it was very western looking, but with this gorgeous mustard H&M blouse (similar here) and a pair of jean shorts, it looked anything but western! It was festival, boho chic and looked so casual on my dinner date. I‘ve realized that regardless of my skepticism, this is a great piece for many different outfits! For instance, a denim on denim ensemble or a black dress with some gladiators, it’s can be rocked on more occasions than I imagined! A good piece of jewelry really changes the entire look of an outfit; I’ve learned this through my experience with Ettika altogether thus far.

Now, this is me being extremely picky, but after all this is a review and I’m being as honest as possible. The only slight disadvantage with some of Ettika‘s chokers is how hard they are to put on. The chain to hook into has very tiny loops and then bigger loops throughout, so you can clip into the bigger loops. But, it just so happens that no bigger loop fits the size of my neck. So I’ve had to find a way to fit the clip through a small hole, after much exhaustion. But, if I do clip it on the closest loop to fitting, it does rest lower on my neck but still has the choker look, as well as looks good.

Regardless, Ettika continues to amaze me.

Ettika X The Style Studies…

I’ve yet again received another amazing piece from Ettika! The handmade designer jewelry company constantly leaves me thinking far too often about jewelry and how I will incorporate it into my daily outfits. This gold ‘Million Miles Away’ long chain necklace was created for a collection in corporation with Nordstrom, and was my best friend these past few weekends, as I wore it for days around the city, nights out with friends and for my birthday dinner paired with this gorgeous dress!

It’s beautiful in a simple way, which is why it looks great with nearly every outfit! I loved wearing it with a white halter body suit, ripped jeans and a pair of nude heels. It made it glam easily and had me feeling incredibly chic. It ends just a bit past my belly button, which is perfect for a long necklace. It has a nice bohemian flow and isn’t overwhelmingly glitzy, and therefore can be either dressed up or down. The only negative about this piece is the small gem in the center piece doesn’t seem to be set in all the way; for the price of the piece I find that this is something a bit critical. It’s not something you want to see after spending $75 – not that all pieces will come this way, but mine did. It is very unnoticeable though, and is just me being a tad picky, mind it is my job to give you the most honest review!

Overall, regardless of the minimal flaw, the piece is beautiful, effortless and timeless. Like I said, it can be worn with just about anything (as I say this I’m wearing it with a pair of black leggings and khaki tunic (; ) and it has become a critical piece to my wardrobe!

Ettika x Saks…

Hey everyone! I recently just partnered up with Ettika, a bohemian style, handmade jewelry company. As a member of their Review Team, I get to try some of their amazing pieces and share them with you! Currently the biggest trend in the accessory department is chokers, and just in time for summer and with all of the Coachella rage, Ettika have created the most beautiful, colorful beaded chokers that can be stacked and worn individually!

I got mine in this gorgeous turquoise color, but it also comes in green, orange, yellow, light pink, white and so much more. They have hundreds of different beaded and other exquisite chokers on their website.

These are perfect for every occasion, whether you’re dressing up for a night out or just going for lunch with some friends, I love mine so much I wear it almost every day! Not only that, but the chain is long enough so that if you aren’t feeling the choker style for the day, you can loosen it and wear it as a regular beaded necklace. This is a great shade of turquoise as well, and the beads are so beautiful and genuine that none of them look the same, they carry an authentic stone vibe rather than all being a solid color. This is the perfect summer piece!

April Rocksbox…

I’m back at it in the realm of jewelry and teaming up with Rocksbox to show you the awesome sets I receive from them and how you can get them too!

If you don’t already know, Rocksbox is a jewelry distributor company that hand picks designer piece and sends you a “set” (3 pieces). This can range anywhere from necklaces to rings, earrings, and bracelets. Sometimes a set isn’t exactly always a ‘set’ like you have in mind; this can be two bracelets and a necklace, the typical idea of a set with earrings a bracelet and a necklace, etc. What happens is, you pay a monthly subscription fee. When the jewelry is sent to you, you can keep it for as long as you like, or send it back for your next set. You can even send only two pieces back, and get two more back! Rocksbox also allows you to buy the designer pieces at a special discounted price!  Shipping the items back is easy and free, as Rocksbox provides you with packaging and labels.

This month, I received two necklaces and a pair of earrings.

The best part of all of it, is that you can always stay on trend and wear the best designer items for an affordable price.

Roxy Summer…

Top: Wrapsody Triangle Halter

Bottom: Wrapsody Cheeky Scooter

Body Chain: Ali Express

This Roxy bikini set is so gorgeous and so comfortable to wear. The salmon color literally glows in the sun and made me look so sun-kissed. It is by far my favourite bikini yet and I will highly recommend it to anyone! The back detail is simple yet gorgeous and the bottoms have good coverage yet are a bit flirty! Plus, there’s no other way I love to feel on the beach than comfortable, girly and sexy yet still have that salty surfer look. I wasn’t sure about Body Chains, so I bought a few cheap ones from Ali Express to try them out. Granted, each and every one of them fell apart after about a half an hour and were all too big in size (short torso problems :/) but none of that changed how amazing they looked on! To find some good body chains, check out my Summer Must Haves post where I featured some of the best ones I’ve found.

p.s. body chains look amazing under tanks, low neck shirts, dresses, etc.!

Feeling a lot of black, white and nude colors lately. It seems that the current ‘in’ is simplicity in the most elegant form. Hope this inspires your week!  (All picture sources can be found on my Tumblr Page…. www.stylestudiesx.tumblr.com )

Jewelry – the tiny (or not so tiny) beautiful gems we wear that always uplift, or entirely make an outfit what it is. Seasons come and go, and sometimes it’s hard to keep up to trend on the latest statement pieces, and not only that, jewelry can be mighty expensive. So I joined Rocksbox! It’s the perfect way to stay in style and in budget. With a small monthly fee you receive a box of designer jewelry in which you can choose to borrow for some time, buy pieces in your box if your heart is set, or swap pieces for new ones at any time. Cool, right? Except here’s the catch, you can get your first month with Rocksbox free by using the code tatimoretoxoxo at check out. If you decide after your first month that Rocksbox isn’t the way for you, you can always cancel your membership. But a month of designer jewelry, for free!? You really just can’t go wrong…

I can’t wait to share with all of you my first Rocksbox 🙂

Francesca’s boutique always has an amazing collection of jewelry for affordable prices. Yesterday, I went there and they had a sale where for one piece, you get another for only $5.00. Both of these were only $12.00! So for a total of $17.00 I got both of these gorgeous pieces that can match pretty much everything.
The midi-ring is both gold and silver, so can be paired with other jewelry of any metal. The wire wrapping is a such a small detail but stands out.
The bracelet is for a bit more of a less-casual occasion, although I pair it up with a few more casual similar style bracelets and will wear it with everyday outfits. Although the leave detail is pretty, I’m not a big fan of it and may in the future take it off.
