Ettika x Saks…

Hey everyone! I recently just partnered up with Ettika, a bohemian style, handmade jewelry company. As a member of their Review Team, I get to try some of their amazing pieces and share them with you! Currently the biggest trend in the accessory department is chokers, and just in time for summer and with all of the Coachella rage, Ettika have created the most beautiful, colorful beaded chokers that can be stacked and worn individually!

I got mine in this gorgeous turquoise color, but it also comes in green, orange, yellow, light pink, white and so much more. They have hundreds of different beaded and other exquisite chokers on their website.

These are perfect for every occasion, whether you’re dressing up for a night out or just going for lunch with some friends, I love mine so much I wear it almost every day! Not only that, but the chain is long enough so that if you aren’t feeling the choker style for the day, you can loosen it and wear it as a regular beaded necklace. This is a great shade of turquoise as well, and the beads are so beautiful and genuine that none of them look the same, they carry an authentic stone vibe rather than all being a solid color. This is the perfect summer piece!

Chic Ways To Travel: Airport Style…

If the stress of packing isn’t enough for you, then here’s the next thing to add to your to-do list: picking the most comfortable, yet head turning chic outfit to run around the airport in. Yes, I’m serious about this. As a fashionista myself, I strive for excellence at all times, but the airport in particular is one instance I like to leave an impression and feel good about myself, as should you. There’s nothing I envy more than a female with the, ‘I’m just so casually chic, I don’t even have to try’ look. You know, those girls with the crazy messy bun but it looks like a famous hair stylist created it? Ugh, the envy.

The reality is, they most likely put in as much effort on their hair and outfits as you do for a special occasion. And there isn’t many worse feelings than looking like a slob and seeing other people so beautifully put together, even in sweats, and trust me, I see them every time I’m at the airport… which is a lot. Be at your best whenever you can. Life is your runway, and the airport is the best way to showcase it because it’s the one place where you’re making an impression on hundreds of people from all over the world. Not only that, but it’s amazing to feel amazing and confident in yourself. I know, why should you care what other people think? And you shouldn’t, you should always be you, regardless of anything in life, but you should care what you think. And remember also, being in a place with hundreds of people from everywhere, many traveling alone, you never know who you could meet. Now, I’m not saying throw on your heels and strut your stuff into the Dunkin’ Donuts line to order yourself some munchkins. I’m saying be the Gigi Hadid of airport people (I guess that entails Starbucks instead?)…

Gigi has awesome style all the time, even at the airport, hair tossed up with a pair of sweats and sneakers…

(there it is! that bun!)

…and then get your munchkins (or venti iced vanilla latte with coconut milk). Take some inspiration and advice from celebrities like Kendall Jenner…

It’s as simple as that! One of the easiest ways to look effortlessly chic while staying comfortable is layering, color coordination, a good black bag and a trendy pair of shoes.

The best advice to take from all of this is, you can be comfortable and stylish all while making an impression, even in sweats and leggings (and in the books of Kendall and Gigi, clearly don’t forget your sunglasses). Don’t forget to be your best self all the time, and I mean this not just in attire either. Smile at strangers, be confident in yourself (a good outfit can achieve this!), and always go out of your way for strangers even if they don’t for you, airport or no airport.
