Ice Cream Sunday’s…

Dress: Hollister

Bag: H&M (similar here)

Sunnies: H&M (similar here)

Sandals: H&M

This dress was such a lucky buy – I’m convinced it was just meant to be! Only available online, someone had returned it in stores and it accidentally was put in clearance where it was found and given to me at an honorable price 🙂 Haven’t always been the biggest fan of Hollister and their signature generic flowery printed items, but after visiting there for the first time in years I fell in love with quite a few things and was really surprised (definitely more posts to come!) So I do recommend giving their website a look. I went for brunch and ice cream with a friend in this dress – the fit is amazing; it’s unbelievably comfortable and I feel absolutely adorable in it. What more could you ask for from a dress!?

Hope you love it as much as I did! 🙂

Lovely Words: Shingles…

I do not know if I am the roof, warn and rusted and broken

in more places than I am whole, and you are the light,

shining through and making those gaps seem beautiful…

or, If I am the light, and you are the roof that is too scared to

toss aside the shingles, cast away the nails, and be bathed in

my warmth until you forget you were ever broken at all.

I do not know, and I do not know if I ever will.

Lovely Words: Chasers of the Light

My friend had this amazing book of poems at her house and I fell deeply in love with the beautiful words. I haven’t made a lovely words post in awhile – my time has been invaded lately, but in the best way 🙂

From now until I finish the book I’ll be sharing with you some of my favourite pieces. Here’s to many more XO
“Oh my heart, how you flee from me to rest in

other homes, to beat softly in other chests.

Have we lived if we have never been loved

unconditionally, can we die once we have, or is

immortality there, in the constant love we

receive long after our breath is no more?”
