I’ve always had a strict diet of chicken fingers, pizza, french fries, Doritos and oreos (so awful, I know…) But I never really had to worry much about my weight. I was an extremely active member at my gym and loved it. Now that it’s summer and I’ve never looked exactly the way I have always dreamed of, I decided to get on a healthy eating kick and STICK with it! Every monday has always been the start of a new ‘diet’ for me, a new diet that lasted, ehhhh, about probably 2 hours. But two weeks ago I went to the market and took the first steps to eating healthy and I’ve actually stuck with it!
Don’t get me wrong – I have to look at pictures of models in bikinis every hour just to keep me motivated – but it works my friends.
I tossed this salad together (it’s basically almost every healthy item I bought mushed into one pile) and it ended up tasting just perfect. Dinner or Lunch, this is my go-to almost daily.
Here it goes:
-Romaine Lettuce
-Avocado
-Roasted Walnuts
-Cucumber
-Baby Carrots
-Hummus (weird… i know. but trust me)
-Oven Roasted Turkey
-Ranch made with Yogurt (even more weird… but amazing)
